Hey there people of today and robots of tomorrow!
It's me, CK!
I decided to go another round of sketching. Why? Stress relief. Besides, asking me to stop drawing is like asking haters not to be annoying. Somebody's gotta annoy the haters. While this Sketch BOOM didn't break the record like the last one (30 total characters), this does have a good amount of characters to spare (27). Like always my limits are original characters that I either own, inspired, helped create, or at least know the deviant who created it. This time I also took inspiration from a song and experimented with shading. There are also some old faces with new looks and new characters. So, who's who?
First (and probably the most noticeable of any of the sketches) is Candy Banger. Leave it to her to be the attention hog. I decided I haven't really drawn too many pictures with her and her katana blades in a while so I decided to do just that. And of course, it wouldn't be AT's kind of epicness without a minor explosion or seven. This is where I experimented with shadings, tone, and robo blood. Yuk! Another example of my shading technique is on the KST's most mysterious member 102. I say he needs to be drawn more. He's a cool character that doesn't get too much attention. So I gave him a bad#BOINK# picture to show off his Batman like qualities. Finally with shading there's a new character I call Billy Bones (between SHER-I and Phil). He's the Grim Reaper's younger brother who is looking for the ultimate vacation. I figured I'd give him a shiny head.
You got more Olaf heading your way! Get it? Head! Ha ha- Yeah, okay. I decided to include more Olaf because he seems like a funny character to write and draw for. He's the zombie with a good heart (if not slightly cut up a bit) but has the worst luck of anybody. Poor dude. Another new odd character I introduced is Tim the Terrible Troll (underneath the pic of me). He lives in the olden' times of knights and princess and wishes to be a hero. He has the heart of a King but the appearance of... well, a troll. He wishes to be more but nobody can get past his appearance. Until one faithful day when he meets a young maiden in peril and decides to be the hero.
But enough about new characters, there's old characters that need mentioning! You've got Sherman P. Yeti, ERN-E's next door neighbor TV, more Phil, and even two heroes with a redesign. First there's Dogpounder (next to Pizza), whose look is inspired off the old 90's Batman cartoons. Plus, Cong Civilback (gorilla next to Tim) is back! These heroes are also joined by the roleplaying couple of SHORT-E and SHER-I as they talk about the new Batman Arkham DLC; Cold, Cold Heart. I also decided to make a little doodle showing Pizza Monster's relationship with the kids, since I think we definitely need to see more of that. And of course they're joined by Villa, but in her Halloween costume from Fantasynarium's great comic. As well as that there's KD and I in our WOPsona's and my new dragon character Angelica with her new mentor the Mistress of Dreams.
Finally, my favorite sketch of this bunch: the other day I was listening to the song "The Devil Went Down to Gerogia" and suddenly I thought: if anybody could beat the Devil in a fiddle playing contest, it would be Crocie! He does everything! Only I made some slight changes. The Devil is replaced by Watery-Flame's character Rockus and the fiddles are scrapped for Crocie's favorite instrument the banjo. Along with that Crocie is joined by Bumper and one of his fifty penguins. Another thing I need to draw more of...
